Stuck with an inherently daft premise (a psychic monkey), this superb little film confirms George A. Romero's gifts as a hugely talented horror film maker. A world away from the zombie hordes, this is the story of a runner crippled by a road accident, and given a trained capuchin monkey, Ella, to act as his guardian.
