Advantages: It is extremely funny, rediculous and classic Python.

Disadvantages: the film seems at times rather like a series of random sketches patched together.

This has to be one of the funniest films ever made and should be in everybodys dvd collection. It is pure python through and through, with appearances from god (as drawn by Terry Gilliam) taunting Frenchmen, knights who say "Ni" and flying cows. It may not be as sophisticated as the Life of Brian but in terms of laughs per minute this surely wins. The two disc edition supplies some excellent features including a documentary where y Jones and Michael Palin return to some of the locations used in the film, and in typical rediculous python style certain scenes recreated using lego characters. My favourite feature has to be Subtitles for People Who Do Not Like the Film, this is rather clever and definitly worth having a look at. The story follows the classic tale of King Arthur (as played by Graham Chapman and his knights of the round table as they search for the Holy Grail. Anyone in need of some innocent fun, must watch this.

Summary: A must see comedy classic
