Motel Hell (DVD)

Motel Hell is a great comedy-horror film. The great western actor Rory Calhoun stars in this movie that was made in 1980. Well known DJ Wolfman Jack also makes an apperance. This movie makes comments on society and religion that some people may not realize while watching it. For example, it shows that Farmer Vincent doesn't discrimate when he kills all types of people and creatures for Farmer Vincent's fritters. This movie also makes a wonderful point about being lonely when Farmer Vincent tells the lady "You are never alone because you have yourself". apparently, it takes 'all kind of critters to make farmer Vincent's fritters !' The fritters in question are in fact mainly made from......human flesh ! So, yes, we're back in texas chainsaw territory, albeit with a more overtly humourous tone this time around. You know the plot. Crazy farmer with cannibal tendencies, people in danger of being made into pies, chainsaws, mayhem, its all here. Farmer vincent is one crazy old dude.
