Moulin rouge is a fantastic musical about a can can dancer called satine she is promised to a evil duke buy the owner of the club ,doing this will financially save the club but satine falls in love with a poor poet at the same time and her heart is torn.

This production is some what of a tounge in cheek comical musical in some regards but also holds a lot of tragedy,Nicole kidman and Ewan Mcgregor are fantastic along side Jim braodbent and Richard roxburgh as the evil duke who provides some excellent comical moments,it is primarily a love story that ends in tragedy but the music and the comedy bring this movie to life.
The costumes are fantasicly elaborate and the music is entertaining and quality,i highly recommend this movie for all musical fans.

Moulin rouge is rated a 15 and is 122 minutes long,i was able to find it for sale on amazon uk for £1.70
