Advantages: great music, great singing, great art direction

Disadvantages: no sequel!

There will never be another movie like Moulin Rouge, an astonishing, gorgeous, ridiculous ride through an imaginary world of romance, song, dance, and of course, inevitable tragedy. Fantastic dancing, surprisingly credible singing, outrageous art direction, and some very beautiful people - what else do you need? Certainly not appropriate for your "Cinema Verite" discussion group, but if you want reality, look out the window - in the meantime, Moulin Rouge is there to sweep you into an imaginary world of wonder.
