... said, this movie starring Mr. Bean doesn't FEEL like Mr. Bean for some reason. In the series and shorts, it was always about Bean, but now that it is Americanized, also due to most Americans not being able to stand any sort of silence all the time, we have other actors who get just as much screen time as Atkinson does. I'll be honest, I do like Peter MacNicol ("Vy am I drippings vis goo?" From Ghostbusters), but it's just not right when the presence of these characters make Mr. Bean seem completely stupid. It's been said before, but I will say it anyway - Bean: The Ultimate Disaster Movie lives up to it's name. That is, it is absolutely atrocious and a complete disaster. For those who don't know, Mr. Bean was a British character played by Rowan Atkinson. Bean himself is, quite much, a crazy snob. He is self-centered, bigoted, and always attempts to find ways to do things, even if in the most random and unusual ways. However, as snobby as he is, Mr. Bean is incredibly likable, for some of his ingenious ideas and random behavior. A personal favorite skit of Bean's was in the hospital, in which Bean attempts to gain a higher number for count because of his hand ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Ultimate Disaster Movie - MR. BEAN (478 words)

Rating:

You may or may not have heard of the Ultimate Disaster Movie featuring Rowin Atkinson - but I have it and I show it to people - we sit together and watch this - and laugh until we cry. Mr. Bean is a very incompetent, retarded, childish, funny-looking misfit who works as a security guard at a British Art Museum. He doesn't do a good job of it, as he usually falls asleep, in the same fashion as you maybe familiar with in this tv series - which isn't very dignified - but hilarious. He is the ultimate solution for immediate havok and chaos - just add a little Mr. Bean to any situation and voila! You have a fully bred, fully grown, irreversable ...  Read the complete review
