Advantages: Funny

Disadvantages: Lack of plot

I am a great fan of Mr Bean. Mr Bean is the creation of Rowan Atkinson's. He is meant to be a clumsy, cute and funny at the same time. I have been watching Mr Bean for many years and I always found it very amusing.

"Mr Bean's holidays" is the latest movie and it left me disappointed. Mr Bean wins a trip to the South of France and sets off for his dream destination. Some how things go wrong from the beginning, and he gets hooked up to a boy who got separated from his father by accident.

This is the base of the ploy. You may ask what happens next? Well, if you have never watched a movie from Mr Bean 9may be you are new to UK, or to the world, for that matter!), you will find the movie amousing, although there is a lack of real ploy, more a sequel of funny or not so funny stories. It all revolves around Mr Bean, his ability to pull up faces, and all the rest.

May be after so many years, this character is now old. I see the analogy with Baron Sasha Cohen and his Ali G, and later his Borat character. May be Rowan needs to think of a new character. I watched the movie on DVD at a friend's house, I did not see any special effect on the DVD, but to be honest at the end of the movie I was half reading a travel book, so may be I missed something.

Summary: Funny if you have never watched Mr Bean before

Bean leaves me cold, which is odd, since I love Atkinson in Blackadder, but there it is.

Very true, no plot really and although Atkinson is good as always, there is no script.

He was crap from day one. What a wasted talent Rowan is.
