I've always been a fan of Kevin Costner, and after seeing this movie I am even more so. The film is directed by Bruce Evans and was written by Reynold Gideon and has an 18 classification. It is not normally the type of film I go in for but on my son's recommendation we decided to watch it since he had the DVD. The film is a thriller is the loosest sense of the word but it does have some excellent atmospheric moments. The overall plot is that of Mr Brooks ( Kevin Costner ) a highly successful businessman who has just received business man of the Year. Earl Brooks is business man of the year, but also fighting a terrible addiction; murder. He has kept his addiction under control for the past two years but now his alter ego Marshall is back on the scene encouraging him to kill again.
