Munnabhai MBBS- Rajkumar Hirani's directorial debut starring Sanjay Dutt(as Munna) and Arshad Warsi(as Circuit) is one of India's most popular comedy films. The strength of the film lies in its fabulous script and brilliant execution.

Munna escaped to mumbai from his village home and became an underworld don who has many people working under him.When he hears that his parents are finally coming to meet him in Mumbai,he realizes they can't know what he really is and so starts pretending as if he's a doctor(which his dad always dreamt of)!

The scenes are hilarious when his parents arrive at his place which he converted into a hospital!Not only do they pretend to be doctors,they make their kidnapped victims play patients! After a couple of days,Munna's father runs into one of his old friends and proudly tells him about his son.

The friend(played brilliantly by Boman Irani) happens to be the dean of the medical college and he suggests that their friendship could lead to a stronger bonding between the families;he wanted Munna to come and meet his daughter who is also a doctor!

Things get out of hand when Munna's truth is revealed infront of his parents and he makes an oath that he will prove himself by getting into medical school and becoming a doctor! You have to see the film to see how it goes on from there.

Expect the unexpected from Hirani and his team of writers who create an original story/screenplay which unfolds at frantic pace with fantastic characters;characters that would later go onto become immortal in cinematic history. Munna and circuits' friendship is unparallel and so are there chemistry on screen,you are guaranteed a thousand laughters and more!

Munnabhai MBBS is not only entertaining,but also carries a huge soul,its a film that will move you with its emotional quotient.The impact of the father-son relation is heightened by the casting,its a pleasure to see Mr.Sunil Dutt with his son Sanjay on screen.

Rajkumar Hirani,take a bow!You have made a film that revolutionised the way people perceive comedies.
