I love Christmas movies, especially ones I haven't seen before. Last December, I think I watched more Christmas movies than ever before. One of which is the one I am going to review today.
My Dog's Christmas Miracle is a fantasy Christmas movie. It was released in 2011 and so is very recent. The movie stars Cynthia Gibb and Greg Evigan.
I thought that the plot was an interesting one. It was exciting and watching it made me feel as though I was a part of the movie. It is quite a busy movie with lots going on, whilst at the same time being a great movie you can relax too.
My favourite character was definitely the talking dog!! I also liked the teenager daughter as she came across as being really 'cool' and 'glamorous'. I felt sorry for the little boy though. Their parents were also likeable characters too. All actors played their parts really well too, and so the movie was very believable to watch; apart from the talking dog of course!
I think that the movie will appeal to the whole family. Children will like the talking dog, teenagers will be able to relate to the teenage daughter, and adults can relate to the adults. So I think it is the kind of movie which can be enjoyed by all members of the family.
The movie is very funny in places. I thought that the things the talking dog said were very funny. I also thought that the teenage daughter was quite funny, especially the part where she pretended to be the little boy's girlfriend in order to scare the bullies away.
I would definitely recommend this lovely Christmas movie!
Thanks for reading!
