Nacho Libre is set back in the 1970's. Ignacio played by the amazing Jack Black is a cook at monestery in Mexico, he spends most of his time caring for the orpans that are there rather than pursuing any religious activities. But his task of providing decent food for his beloved orpans is increasingly difficult due to the poor ingredients which are all they can afford. Ignacio reinvents himself as wrestler Nacho in order to win the prize money, of course wrestling is frowned upon by the monestry so its all conducted in secret.

The real star of the film is Jack Black aka Ignacio aka Nacho, just to see him with his tight blue tights, cape and red underewear on the top is funny in itself. The actual wrestling fight are a very entertaining show, and actually resemble to ludicrousness of wrestling as a sport very well.

Esquello is Nacho's stick thin Mexican team partner and again he plays the part very well, I am always reminded now whenever I watch it again of the parody of him in Epic Movie.

This movie is a recommended view, its light hearted, fun and just a little bit silly - great easy viewing.
