'Nathan Barley' is an unconventional sitcom which was shown on Channel 4 in 2005. Written by the controversial Chris Morris (Brass Eye) and Charlie Brooker (Dead Set), the series received a somewhat cult following during its first airing in the UK. As the title suggests, the show revolves around a character called Nathan Barley (played by Nicholas Burns) - a dim-witted exponent of the new-media culture, who has somehow become revered amongst his contemporaries.
