Nathan Barley is a really funny mickey take of the Hoxton set, written by the incomparable Chris Morris (Brasseye, Day Today) and the acidic Charlie Brooker (Screenwipe, Guardian Tv reviewer), this is about the media set and shows how the people who influence what we watch, listen to, read and think are actually mental!! 'Nathan Barley' is an unconventional sitcom which was shown on Channel 4 in 2005. Written by the controversial Chris Morris (Brass Eye) and Charlie Brooker (Dead Set), the series received a somewhat cult following during its first airing in the UK. As the title suggests, the show revolves around a character called Nathan Barley (played by Nicholas Burns) - a dim-witted exponent of the new-media culture, who has somehow become revered amongst his contemporaries.
