This delightful movie starring Jodie Foster and Liam Neeson, is totally original and fantastically watchable. It is about a young woman, Nell (Jodie Foster), who's grown up completely cut off from the twentieth century. She has a language beyond understanding and a life beyond words. Until she is discovered by a local doctor and they build up a friendship. This film is sad in places and wonderful all the way through. Jodie Foster is fantastic as Nell, as is Liam Neeson, with also a brilliant performance by Natasha Richardson. This is a stunning movie and at a 12 rating, can be enjoyed as a family movie.
