This next review is on the 2008; film Never Back Down, starring Sean Faris, Amber Heard, Cam Gigandet, and Djimon Hounsou. I first watched this film on DVD, and again just recently on sky, so I though I would take the time to review the film. It has a relatively new cast with the exception of Djimon Hounsou who starred in Blood Diamond. I was a semi fan of this film, largely due to the whole premise of it being a fighting film, and I thinking it might be awesome. Upon moving to a new school subsequent to the death of his Father, Jake Tyler (Sean Faris) quickly makes enemies in high places. When invited to a party by the gorgeous Baja Miller (Amber Heard) Jake attends thinking that he has a chance with her only to find out that she's dating MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) whiz Ryan (Cam Gigandet). Never Back Down is an action film that was released in 2008. The film is rated 15 due to a few uses of strong language, a lot of strong violence and some mild nudity and it is 115 minutes long. Never Back Down had a budget of $20 million and only went on to make just over double that at the box office worldwide. Plot Jake is part of his high school football team but after winning an important game, he gets kicked out for fighting with another guy who brings up the subject of his dead father.
