Starring Ben Stiller this film is based on the book written in 1993. This is a great fantasy adventure film where Larry (Ben Stiller) takes on a job as a night watchman at a museum, but on his first night he finds out that all of the artifacts in the museum comes alive! Also starring Owen Wilson and Steve Coogan, these characters give humour to the film as well. This is an all star film including Robin Williams and Dick Van Dyke and definitely worth watching. I have never read the book, so cannot compare, but I think the film captured that magic that any fantasy childrens film should have. There is also a sub plot where Larry is trying to impress his son and potential girlfriend through his new job, and with help from the characters in the museum he achieves this. The film has great special effects as well.

Summary: A great fantasy film with a great cast
