This is straight off the Stephen King production line and it is not one of the premier brand products. It will not occupy shelf space next to the Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption or Misery. This is strictly made for TV fodder with second string actors (Miguel Ferrer, Julie Entwisle ) delivering corny horror film lines. The plot is a little more original; a modern day vampire travelling by private light aircraft to prey on small, isolated airports. However, the effects are low budget and the film offers nothing for a second viewing. The DVD itself is a TV programme on a disc. After reading Stephen King's short story, "The Night Flier" (from the "Nightmares and Dreamscapes" collection), I was very eager to see the film adaptation and if it would do the story any justice or not. I was very sceptical when I saw this film's credentials on paper. I mean, it is directed by debut director Mark Pavia, whom I had never heard of and the same could be said about its stars apart from leading man Miguel Ferrer, who played Robocop's creator in the original Robocop and has also starred in Star Trek III, Twin Peaks, Hot Shots!
