This film looked like a really promising romance and as it centres on food I was sure it would be a good film. However for me it lacks passion and some moments are just so unrealistic. The romantic connection between the two main characters is almost there but the director seems to have missed so many opportunities to make it really sizzle. I also found the typical gay best friend as seen on the front cover performing, a little too obvious a choice and simply in the film to add laughs, which are infrequent.
