The facts:
Northern Exposure is a great movie about the life of the people of a city in Alaska name Sicily. This quirky television show follows new doctor Joel Flieshman, a New Yorker in a small Alaskan town trying to pay off his college loans. Working in this town will forgive all his school debts. Maurice Menifield is a rich ex-astronaut who is footing the bill. He takes care of the town by throwing money around to feel like a big shot. There are a lot of different characters that interact with Joel.

Opinion:
Northern Exposure makes me want to like cold weather. I really dislike being cold so this is a huge deal. Sicily is the ideal place to live if you like quirky people. Maybe quirky isn't the right word. They are downright weird! It seems to work, though, and it really adds character to the show. I propose that you give this show a try. Why? Because this show is funny, sweet and wonderful. You will fall in love with the characters and soon they will almost feel like family. I hope you do watch this and love it as much as I do.
