Advantages: Fantastic film, great end to the trilogy, reasonable price for 3 great films, fantastic cast.

Disadvantages: None

Ocean's Thirteen is a 2007 film which follows on from Ocean's Twelve & Ocean's Eleven which was a remake of a 1960 Rat Pack film which was also called Ocean's Eleven.

This film is directed by Steven Soderbergh, as per the rest of the trilogy & stars quite a few high profile celebrity names including George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, & Bernie Mac amongst others. Julia Roberts & Catherine Zeta Jones are not in this film but there is the introduction of some new targets who are played by Ellen Barkin & Al Pacino.

The plot of the film follows the original group of con men & career criminals from the first & second films as they attempt to ensure that the opening night of an arch enemies casino is a flop in order to prevent him earning the £500,000,000 that he needs to earn to ensure that casino is deemed a success and that Banks' (the enemy) can retain ownership of the casino.

The film is by far the best of the trilogy and the storyline was superbly acted out by the amazing all star cast. The technology supposedly involved in them carrying out their plan was mind blowing and I really did enjoy watching the whole thing come together in order to see if they were successful in their plan to ruin 'The Bank'. There are many obstacles that seem to get in their throughout the film and several times I thought the game was up for them only for some elaborate further plan to be hatched and planned meticulously.

I loved the cast in this film, as I did the previous two, and think that everybody comes together so well and every single moment of the film is fantastic. It's a shame that Catherine & Julia aren't present but the additional cast members fit in very well with the tone of the film and I didn't actually notice Julia was missing first of all.

This film is the perfect finish to the trilogy and there is plenty to keep even the most avid action fans entertained. I really enjoyed the entire trilogy and purchased it from Amazon.co.uk as a box set which I paid £15.38 for because I wanted to own the entire trilogy and keep them all together. You can probably get the three films slightly cheaper if you purchase them separately so keep your eyes peeled.

I am rating this film 5/5 as it was just fantastic. It was a brilliant end to the trilogy and one I will no doubt watch again in the future. I would definitely recommend any of the Ocean's trilogy but this film is by far my favourite.

Summary: An awesome film that wrapped up the trilogy very well.

I actually preferred the first one and though this one was a sequel too far. For sheer class, nothing beats the original rat pack movie though. Nicely reviewed. 8^)
