Being an extensive musical fan, I was brought up watching these types of films and must say that these two are two of the best. Essential for every child to have such wonderful songs as "consider yourself" and "tomorrow" going round and round in their minds for days on end. Unfortunately, as a young child, my mother was not as keen to hear the shrill sound of "tomorrow" from Annie being sung all day long. Young children can easily pick up these classic songs and will remember them through the years. Over Christmas my daughter really enjoyed watching a couple of musicals on T.V. I also loved musicals as a child, and this prompted a visit to my mothers to raid the old forgotten VHS box.
