One Tree Hill - The Complete First Season (DVD)

A friend recommended this show to me, and I saw no reason not to start watching it so gave it a go one Monday night while I was sitting there finishing off my homework. It's different to most other teen dramas, and it quite unique with its range of characters and themes. I'd always heard that One Tree Hill was good, but never decided to watch it, as I assumed that it was very similar to other American teen shows of the era, such as the OC and Dawson's Creek. Since I wasn't a fan of these shows, I thought that the same would be true for One Tree Hill. One Tree Hill overview One Tree Hill is one of those teenage drama series that at the age of 30 I am still addicted to. Perhaps it's the teen angst, the very cute boys and beautiful girls or the picturesque location but this is a firm favourite of mine and a lot of my friends too. I started watching One Tree Hill after everyone from work was constantly talking about it. I borrowed Season 1 off a friend aand strating watching it. From beginning to end I was hooked watching one disc a night (4 - 6 episodes.) The drama unfolds as Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Nathan (James Lafferty) are half brothers who have nothing to do with each other. They end up playing for the same basketball team in school. As a big fan of American TV Shows such as The OC, I decided to watch One Tree Hill and have been hooked through all five series (all shown so far in UK) after seeing the pilot episode. I have watched Series 1 four or five times since first buying it. It is a show that i can never see myself getting bored of.
