Fatal Extraction originally aired on Christmas Day 1993, and was the last Only Fools & Horses Christmas special before the two 'finale' trilogies. The episode revolves around Del's skewed way of handing fatherhood, as he feels the best way to help his family is to stay out 'til late at night 'working' in the casinos trying to get the family some cash. Racquel sees it differently, she believes Del has fallen out of love with her, and treats her rotten so she takes little Damien and leaves. Fatal Extraction is one of the later special-feature length episodes of Only Fools and Horses, although it does involve Cassandra, Raquel and Damian who if I'm honest I don't think that much of, it's not particularly bad. Perhaps the reason I like it is that Del is rebelling! Del's spending too much time on the tiles, gambling and boozing and splits up with Raquel, he chats up a dentists receptionist and there's lots of trouble brewing! It's not only his lovelife that is taking a beating though as the streets of Peckham are full with riots. There's good onscreen natter between the brothers, some classic dodgy goods to be sold and Del's extremely drunk persona ... Read the complete review
