Advantages: Some funny moments

Disadvantages: Not enough though

A number of feature film lenght episodes were made of On;ly Fools and Horses featuring the Peckham wheeler dealer brothers Del Boy and Rodney Trotter however for me this was probably the most disappointing of the lot and fails to match up to the quality of episodes like the day out to the seaside or the one where Rodney dates a posh girl.

This episode centres around the discovery that Rodney and Del do not share the same father, naturally this is pretty obvious when you look at them plus the often mentioned reputation of their long dead mother however what was not known was that Rodney is the off spring of a thief known as Freddy the Frog whose last big haul was never recovered and is reputed to be buried gold bullion, always on the look out for a score Del sets out to discover its location.

Thereare some very funny moments in this episode but unfortunately there are not enough of them, to be honest it would be much better as a standard 30 minute episode. The comic acting is top notch as always and the pair are comic gold when on screen together.

It is still worth seeing but I would not go out of my way to watch it as it does not represent their finest work by a long way.
