Advantages: Decent picture and sound. Varied choice of language in menu
Disadvantages: Extra's aren't strong.
One of my favourite films and I just had to have it on DVD.
The story of a snob getting just what she asked for. Dean Proffitt who is a local carpenter gets hired to do a job onboard a luxury yacht owned by Joanna 'Annie' Stayton. After Dean finished the job for her which is a built in wardrobe she refuses to pay him due to her not liking the wood it was made out of.
After a few minutes of banter Dean finds himself in the water along with his tools. Later on in the movie she finds herself there too but with the loss of her memory.
The movie unfolds with Dean having an idea to con Joanna into being his wife and paying off the money she owes him through manual labour.
What happens is a love story in the making with a happy ending to boot. It's a family film that everyone can enjoy.
The DVD doesn't offer much in form of extra's, there is the original theatrical trailer, and a few different language to choose from in case English isn't your strongest language. Sound and picture were both excellent for a movie released in 1988.
5 out of 5
Summary: A film that is a real joy to watch. Happy endings all round. Decent DVD
