Advantages: Action packed thriller

Disadvantages: makes the British look useless, and the Yanks come up trumps as usual

This movie is a must for all those Harrison Ford fans out there.

This film begins in London, Jack Ryan (Harrison Ford) is on holiday there with his family, sight seeing. He notices an incident involving some IRA terrorists trying to blow up a member of the royal families car. Harrison Ford wades in and kills one of the terrorists, only to find out that he has killed a younger brother of one of the terrorists (Sean Bean). This sets the wheels in motion for a personal vendetta against the Ryan family.

A few attempts are made to kill Harrison Fords wife and daughter, which concludes in a fantastic ending scene at their family home.

I highly recommend this film, and if you like it, you will also enjoy Clear and Present Danger.
