Advantages: Jez's thoughts
Disadvantages: Mark and Sophie's relationship at times boring
In Peep Show series 3 Mark and Jez return for more laughs in this British sitcom.
Mark and Jez are still twenty something flatmates. Mark is still boring, but is now in a relationship with long term love interest Sophie. However Sophie is relocated to Bristol. Jez is still reeling from his wife Nancy leaving him but gets in to adventures with Super Hans.
Everything I loved from the previous two series of Peep Show is still there. The inner monologues and eye view camera level give the show an edge.
Once more there are six episodes in the series.
Episode one see's Mark get robbed by hoodies and trying to reclaim his stuff while Jez get's excited by the return of an old flame Suze only to see her return in love with a monk.
In episode two Mark starts dating Sophie officially and Jez is in a relationship with a kooky woman.
Episode three features Mark preparing for a business trip to Germany with Johnson only to come down witha bad case of diarohea while Jez tries to entertain big Suze with Mark ill in the flat.
In episode four Mark tries to woo Big Suze to the annoyance of Jez who is sleeping woth Mark's sister.
Episode five Jez dates a woman on trial in court when he is on jury service. While Mark tries to be cool, but fails.
In the last episode Mark proposes to Sophie in the Quantocks only to reject the decision he makes.
At times Mark and Sophie's relationship problems can get tedious, but canbe funny as well. Big Suze is a grat addition to the cast and Super Hans and Johnson are great as usual.
The DVD extras iclude Mark and Jez on the Quantocks, Johnson's Frankfurt pitch, Mark and Jez's phone messages and deleted scenes.
Peep Show keeps getting better and better!
Summary: Peep Show series 3 up to the standard of previous two
