Advantages: Great performances and just plain funny.

Disadvantages: Only six episodes.

There is no better British television sitcom around today than Peep Show. Endlessly inventive, genuinely funny and fine performances from two of the most respected comedians on TV are all here in the forth series. First, an episode taking the less than enthuiastic about his impending marriage Mark to the countryside to meet his prospective in-laws. Havoc inevitably insues. A dead dog, "project zeus" and some urine stained trousers follow in the six episodes overall. David Mitchell is always perfect as the "square" Mark, who is contantly reeling in the child like Jeremy played by Robert Webb. The internal musings of each are hilarious, and nearly always spot on leaving the viewer relating to the two underachieving heroes of the show. The race-against the clock final episode is excruciating, but the series near faultless. If you want a DVD that has replay value and almost to many painfully funny lines and situations, it's Peep Show Series 4.

Summary: Near Faultless.
