Advantages: Johnny depp suits the part and its really funny
Disadvantages: none, very watchable
When we went to the movie rental place to get a dvd the one we wanted (phonebooth) was out of stock so when we noticed that there was on dvd left for p of the c we thought yep take it to the check out before everyone else does so we took it home put my son to bed and immediatley watched it when we got in. From the start i knew this was going to be good from the little girl singing at the beginning to jack singing at the end.
The thing i like best about this film is the storey line its not just the boring storey line you get in some films its all different ones from jack sparrow wanting the black pearl and many many more. For me i think Gore Verbinski (director) has done really well and was better than "The Ring". Its full of action, romance and comedy in one, there is quite abit in this film but after the 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th 10th im still watching it as its that good, must admit keira knightley (Elizabeth), orlando bloom(Will turner(, Johnny Depp(jack sparrow) & Geoffrey Rush (captain Barbossa) are all very good in this film and i really enjoyed it.
I bought this sometime last year and it only cost £9.97 at asda.

I'm sorry about the low rating, but you give away a few details of plot that explain the story a little bit too much. And, I'm afraid that as plot spoilers can spoil peoples potential enjoyment of the film I rate them Not Useful.
I found it particularly useful to read about the site a bit before I wrote in areas to get a sense for what is expected. I found especially useful the "Rewarded Reviews" which are found through a link on the "Community Page". It really gives you something to aim at!
