Advantages: Great Movie, Everything

I have never been a particular fan of Johnny Depp , but this movie has change my tune. He shows outstanding acting and portrays our lovable pirate amazingly, amazingly well. He is also well supported by the rest of the cast. Really it is almost worth watching this movie, just to enjoy this unusually high quality acting.

PLOT

The movie begins with HMS Dauntless encountering a shipwreck with a sole survivor, a young boy Will Turner, floating among the wreckage. A child passenger Elizabeth finds and hides a gold medallion she found around the unconscious Will's neck as she was worried he would be accused of piracy.

Eight years pass and Captain Jack Sparrow arrives in Port Royal to commandeer a ship. While there he rescues the now grown Elizabeth after she falls into the sea but is promptly arrested for piracy - a great thank you. He escapes (very funny!) and runs into a blacksmith shop where he meets Will Turner, now a blacksmith's apprentice and an expert swordsman. (great action!) Sparrow loose the fight and then is imprisoned. During the night the town is attacked by pirates, and we find that the medallion that Elizabeth kept is not just gold...

SUMMARY

A wonderful movie. Great acting. Lots of action and some really, really good jokes to boot. You really should watch this movie.

Whoever you are, you will love it!
