Disadvantages: Complicated Plot.

This film is the first in the PotC trilogy and is possibly the best. The film has a great script and is directed very well.

The plot is very complicated meaning it is hard to understand and the film is very long so some people may not be able to concentrate. In the film, Sparrow trys to rescue Elizabeth after she has been kidnapped. You will be stuck to your seat with the excellant twists.

The cast is superb and they have one of the best preformances that I have seen. They kept me entertained and delivered the comedy moments very well. The script is fantastic and is funny in parts keeping you entertained. The directing is also very good. The special effects are terrific and look great.

The DVD is very good with some great extras and superb picture quality. The colour looks great and the sound has a high quality. The dialogue is crystal clear. The extras are nicely presented and include some informative footage and some funny deleted scenes.

Overall, the film is very good and the best PotC film. The script is very entertaining and the special effects and extras are fantastic! However, the plot is very complicated making it better for adults rather than children.

Summary: A great film and the best of the trilogy.
