If you haven't seen this by now, you really are missing out on something special. It was an instant classic the moment it was released and Johnny Depp created such a brilliant character, now one of the movie world's most beloved and iconic characters - almost on a par with Indiana Jones himself. I've watched this film god knows how many times now and everytime I do I thoroughly enjoy it. Fantastic fun and swashbuckling adventure for all but the youngest of ages. The onscreen visuals are atmospheric and moody and the brilliant music by Hans Zimmer perfectly compliments the eye candy - he truly is a genius composer. The characters are a joy to voyage with, the story is well thought out with great twists in it, inventive, imaginative action and some hilarious classic moments that are unforgettable. A brilliant start to a brilliant trilogy - this is absolute cinematic gold.
