Advantages: Thrilling and epic

Disadvantages: none

Pirates of the Carribean is one of my most favourite set of films of all time, with fantastic storylines, great characters, and epic adventures. Originally a ride at Disneyland, Pirates of the Carribean captured the imaginations of millions of viewers beginning in 2003, with The Curse of The Black Pearl.
Captain Jack Sparrow, a rogue and unconventional pirate, played brilliantly by Johnny Depp, has lost his ship, The Black Pearl, to his arch enemy, Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush). Barbossa attacks the town of Port Royal and captures the governor's daughter Elizabeth (Keira Knightly). Elizabeth's childhood friend Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) sets off in attempt to rescue her, calling reluctantly of the help of Jack. However, the task in made harder by the fact that Barbossa and his crew are cursed to live forever.
The movie is fantastic with great excitment, realistic effects, and epic adventure, made all the more incredible by Johnny Depp's brilliant depiction of the unorthodox pirate, Jack Sparrow.
I would highly recommend this film for its originality and entertainment and it is certainly one of my most favourite films of all time.

Summary: Great adventure film
