Advantages: Fantastic adventure with great characters

Disadvantages: If anything it's not long enough!!

This is one of my all time favourite Walt Disney films ever, Pocahontas. This was made in 1995 and has amazing songs, colours, characters and is an exciting, moving and romantic story.

Pocahontas (voiced by Irene Bedard) is a free spirited young woman who is the daughter of the Native American Chief Powhatan(voiced by Russell Means) . He has arranged the marriage of his daughter to the greatest warrior of their village, but Pocahontas has other ideas! Everything changes when a ship comes into there land, Governor Radcliffe (voiced by David Ogden Stiers) plans to make the beautiful land Verginia, The new world. When the ship of English sailors enter this world, John Smith (voiced by Mel Gibson) meets Pocahontas and they find out that there is a love between them but his kind refer to her kind as 'savages' and they do not get along. In this story Pocahontas and John Smith have to try and find a way for everyone to get along and see if they can save their love for each other.
More characters include; Grandmother Willow (voiced by Linda Hunt), Meeko (voiced by John Kassir), Thomas (voiced by Christian Bale), Percy (voiced by Danny Mann), Wiggins (also voiced by David Ogden Stiers), Ben (voiced by Billy Connolly), Flit (voiced by Frank Welker) and so many more!!

With witty characters and beautiful songs that will be remembered!! this is a wonderful Disney film and will stay with you long after youve seen it! It is only 81 minutes, i have lost count how many times i have watched it and i still dont get bored!

Summary: One of the best Disney films ever!
