Police Academy 5: Assignment Miami Beach (DVD)

Commandant Eric Lassard and some of his former students travel to Miami for an award that Lassard is to receive. at the airport there is a jewel thief named Manny who is trying to smuggle stolen diamonds in a camcorder stored in a suitcase the same as Lassard 's suitcade and the suitcase get mixed up at the airport. this ends up geting Commandant Eric Lassard kidnapped to get the diamonds back and it is up to Commandant Lassard former students to get him back from the kidnappers. this is the first Police Academy with out Steve Guttenberg as Mahoney and is replaced a actor Matt McCoy as Nick Lassard Eric Lassard's nephew I watched this in the cinema ...  Read the complete review

Police Academy 5 was on location in Miami "ooooh" I hear you say, yes, it was that exciting. Basically Captain Lussard was up for an award and he had to go to Miami to collect it. He also announced that he was going to retire, much to the upset of the old gang, anf, of course, me... but not to Captain Harris who wanted his job. Anyway the whole team packed up and went to Miami with Captain Lussard, who they all loved and got on a plane to Miami.....which confused me, NONE of the gang sat together, they all sat infront of eachother which was just weird....but the plane was the setting for the old fire extinguisher to put a cigar out gag.
