Dear God in heaven above. You call this a movie??? I am a fan of the Police Academy films and I can watch them over and over again for some mindless entertainment. However, I draw the line at this effort. What were they thinking? Clearly this entry was so poor that half of the "talent" from the previous movies couldn't even bring themselves to star in it. Gone are Hightower, Proctor & Hooks and even Matt McCoy's Steve Guttenberg replacement character, Nick Lassard. The star of the movies is now who? George Gaynes?? Come on. They are planning to make another did you know, Heaven forbid. Whoever gave this one the green light should be found and shot at dawn. The words absolutely and tragic come to mind whenever this film is mentioned. The humour is now at an all time low, the same old jokes which were sort of funny in Police Academy and were strained in Police Academy 3 are now bordering on the point of collapse. A lacklustre cast with a few of the regulars going through the motions, even Bubba Smith (the tall one who did nothing) would not agree to appear in it. 86. Police Academy 7: Mission to Moscow (1994) I was really expecting to loathe this film. The sort of film that relies on kicking a grown man in the knackers for it's best laughs. It's actually just a fairly mundane, lightweight comedy, trying to cater for the remaining fans of the series, but failing to grab the wider audience. I've seen all the Police Academy films, and they do get worse with every installment, with this one being the exception. Part 6 (City Under Siege) was utter garbage, and so Mission to Moscow is a minor improvement on it.
