Prison Break is broadcast by Fox. The show is in its third season. The seasons usually consist of 24 one hour long episodes. The third season has unfortunately been cut short due to the writer's srike and consists of only 13 episodes. This review is based on the first series, partly because I'm not up to date on the second and third series, and partly because I don't want to spoil for anyone who hasn't started watching yet. This drama does something that not many other programmes do, keeps you watching on the edge of your seat. It is addictive. I'm sure I could feel my blood pressure rising as I became so hooked I devoured the whole first series in ... Read the complete review

This has got to be the best show on TV . I didn't watch it when it was on channel 5 as I missed the first few episodes, so I rented it on DVD and I've got to say thats the best way to watch a tv show. You have a straight 45 minutes of Michael Scofield and co with no ad breaks, pure tv heaven. So what I like about this tv show is the genuis plot. The brother of a man who is sent to prison, commits a crime bad enough on purpose to be sent to prison with him, confident that he'll be able to break both of them out, as he is a structual engineer and knows just how the prison was built. A bit far fetched you may think, but honestly I couldn't recommend ... Read the complete review

The US has a plethora of different TV shows that get through the cutting process each year, and I can only inagine the number that don't. In amongst all of these shows, there are few that stand out, but Prison Break is one of them. In theory, it shouldn't work, and the possibilities should be severely limited as to what they can do with the show, but it is now well into its fourth season, and is one of the top rated thrillers still. There have been a number of developments since it first aired 4 years ago, with season 1 proving a big hit. Little was explained about the show to start with, leaving it very much up to the potential viewers' imagination, and I'll ... Read the complete review
