A few months ago I bought 'Pump It Up! The Ultimate Dance Workout'. I bought it mainly out of curiosity as I was almost certain it'd be just another Ministry of Sound cash in - but after discovering it was the most original and fun workout DVD I'd come across I couldn't wait (a bit weird, I know!) the arrival of the follow up 'Pump It Up! Beach Body - The Ultimate Summer Workout', which I promptly received for my birthday. PUMP IT UP BEACH BODY Most people should still remember the sexually charged aerobic workout in Eric Prydz's 2004 'Call On Me' video. Now, I'm not a fit person and don't enjoy exercise, but I'm a size 8 and very slim, and I found this DVD very hard! I like the fact there is more than one person to follow, although I did concentrate on the main girl in the centre. I was looking forward (yes i leads a very sad life) to this dvd arriving once i had ordered it as i was very impressed with other 'pump it up' Dvds, however im sad to say i was disapointed and did not find the workout enjoyable, You certainly won't get bodies like the dancers just by doing this DVD. Stick to Pump It Up: The Ultimate Dance Workout. THe instructor seems more concerned about looking sexy and is wearing 2 pairs of underwear!! i.e 2 pair of knickers and 2 bras.. The choice of music is good as i liked alot of the tracks featured, however they were mixed in together so you only heard a minute or so of each song. not a terrible ... Read the complete review

I have all of the Ministry of Sound Pump It Up DVDs and I love them all. I love the combining of great dance music, cool dance moves and a good workout that makes you fit. They all have their strengths and weaknesses though. This one is the easiest, it does make me break out in a sweat but it's not too hard. The bums and tums section is good. There are no real dancemoves in this workout, but it's still fun. I decided to you this dvd to lose weight when i was going to thailand and it was really effective. because it was fun to do and didnt exhaust me it gave me motivation to do it everyday and i dropped a dress size in only a few months. this is by far the ...
