Advantages: great sequel

Disadvantages: n/a

Over the years I have never been a huge James Bond fan, but since Daniel Craig has been Bond I feel that the film has taken a turn for the better and has finally hit upon some new material, instead of the same retuning elements time and time again, which did not interest me in the slightest.

The Quantum of Solace, follows on from Casino Royale and it continues on from Bond on a mission to uncover the truth behind the betrayal of his beloved Vesper. This is the sequel as it starts just one hour after the conclusion of Casino Royale, where James Bond once in his life fell in love with Vesper and then she fell to her death in Venice and Bond is trying to come to terms with his loss whilst also pursuing the truth, which is far more complicated then anyone had imagined.

Bond is on his travels to uncover the truth meets the beautiful Camille played by Olga Kurylenko, who leads Bond straight to Dominic Greene played by Mathieu Amalric whom is not who he seems to be, Bond discovers that Greene is conspiring to take total control of one of the world's most important natural resources, so Bond sets out saving the world and getting all the answers to all his question in true Bond style.

I do not want to give away too much of the story but you have the usual bond babes, fights and the great car chases that we expect in the Aston Martin, which no Bond film would be the same without.

Well I would have to say that this one does not live up to the hype of the previous film, but I think when you cast a new James Bond you have to pull out all the stops, I was expecting more action and adventure from a film that had a huge budget, but it still manages to live up to the James Bond name.

Daniel Craig manages to play Bond really well and I will look forward to seeing him in the next installment.

Summary: great
