It was always a strong possibility that the Rambo trilogy would spawn a further sequel and it comes as no surprise that its finally arrived and with a hi def version too. Parental advisory: We have come to expect and accept that the Rambo stories take a skeletal plot and flesh it out with action and violence, and then more violence. This film takes the violence up to 10, rips off the dial and wires in a new dial for level 15 violence. It cannot be underestimated, the level of gratuitous and often sickening violence becomes relentless. Rambo - what can we say about him and this film which hasn't been discussed a million times before? The use of extreme violence? hey, its Rambo! the weak plot?- again, its rambo! I know people are going to be shocked by this film and i hate to say it but i loved it!(i confess- i'm a Rambo fan!) what i will say is look deeper and find out through the extras what this film actually involved and the actual research in regards to the locations and climate of Burma and surrounding areas- quite an eye opener!
