Picture this. Seemingly happy man and wife having running around one morning trying to cram in a little breakfast after staying in bed a little too long one morning engaging in marital relations should we say. Woman who works in fashion at one of the top department stores tells her husband that she has to go away on a photo shoot for work and so won't be back for a couple of days. Wife leaves the house and unbeknown to the husband that is the last time he will see her as the plane in which she is travelling crashes with no survivors. As if that scenario isn't tragic enough, as it turns out the wife wasn't even going to her supposed destination, she was ... Read the complete review

I was embarrassed for Harrison Ford when I watched this flick, which I fast-forwarded a few times due to the long scenes during which nothing happened. Apparently, Ford was embarrassed, as well, because he didn't seem to be acting, but rather, walking around half-asleep. They say "Seinfeld" was a show about nothing. Well, this was a movie about nothing. While "Seinfeld" was able to create nine fun-filled years based on nothing, this movie created nothing out of a number of solid possibilities. Seeds of plot were strewn around, but nothing was allowed to grow. The plotlines were undeveloped. The characters were undeveloped. And with all of ... Read the complete review

I visited the site with the intention of writing a review concerning another DVD but found Dooyoo hadn’t put the category up like they promised. During my search through the DVD titles available I found the 1999 film, Random Hearts, had received no reviews to date. A film that stars big names like Harrison Ford and Kristin Scott Thomas that is this bad needs a review if not to achieve anything else but to stop a few people wasting money on this at the video shop or, worse still, buying it on DVD. Synopsys: A Washington Police Sergeant and a Congresswoman in the midst of a re-election campaign lose their respective spouses in a plane crash. The cop ... Read the complete review

I have moved a lot in 5 years and know how the time can go slowly, when you have nothing because you are waiting on movers to bring your stuff. That's how it was this time, until I find out our apartment complex has a big selection of DVD. So I went there one day to see if they have something I could see on my laptop and kill the time. I have find the Random Hearths and cover of Dvd seems interesting , so I have borrowed it. Plot: Dutch Van Den Brock ( Harrison Ford) is having happy marriage, at least that's what he think after he find out the plain with her wife Payton Van Den Brock(Susanna Thomson) on board has crash. At first when he is watching ... Read the complete review

I should have known better - an aging 'Heart throb' and the miserable looking Kristina Scott Thingy wossname. However, the exciting looking trailer, the promise of a bit of hanky panky, and a plane crash, all made me think this film might be worth seeing. How wrong I was! The premise is promising: two people meet, as their partners were killed in the same plane crash. Subsequently they unravel a web of conspiracy. Sounds gripping? It wasn't. Obviously the deaths of their partners upsets the main protagonists - cue lots of anguished looks across rooms. The mystery develops when it is revealed that neither partner should have been on ...
