... cold-hearted self-obsessed Rimmer actually falls in love. Unfortunately, as usual, things don't go right for Rimmer. Loads of laughs for us along the way though! 'Terrorform' is another Rimmer-based episode only this time we're right back to laughing at him rather than being in that uncomfortable place where we actually feel a bit sorry for him as we did in 'Holoship'. You can really see how far the special effects have come along in this episode as you watch a whole planet taking shape around Rimmer's psyche. Th...more

Arnold Rimmer (Chris Barrie), who was previously his superior, has been brought back as a hologram by the ships computer, Holly (Hattie ...

The scenery and props are a lot more advanced in this series so you can really tell that the budget went up as the show's popularity did. By series 5, they were able to afford much better special effects. Episodes are: 1. Holoship 2. The Inquisitor 3. Terrorform 4. Quarantine 5. Demons and Angels 6. Back to Reality 'Holoship' gets the DVD off to a really good start. The crew run into a holoship that Rimmer beams up onto. For the ...
