Advantages: Great story

Disadvantages: Little bit soppy in middle

James Dalton is a well known bouncer or "cooler" and when a rowdy bar called The Double Deuce becomes too rowdy for everyone's liking, the bar owner calls in Dalton to clean up and help him to become a good bar to drink in again.

Dalton steps on a few toes during his time there and creates some enemies who make life very difficult for him and his oldest loyal friend, Wade Garrett, who Dalton called on for back up.

The dancing is over, it's time to get dirty! (c/o IMDB - just loved that line so had to have it!)

I think Patrick Swayze is great in this character. He is not a huge muscley bouncer type with no neck but his strength and character are so believeable in this role that it doesn't seem impossible that he could beat up a whole room full of men and walk out smiling.

The storyline is pretty good too and Sam Elliott who plats Wade Garrett is totally cool. He looks like a real old timer but when he starts to fight he gets right in there and kicks some collective "ass"!

There is obviously a love interest and it does get a bit soppy/sexy in the middle of the film, but that can be forgiven for the rest of the film is full of great fight scenes and evolving storylines.

This is well worth a watch, even if just for Swayze & Elliott's chemistry as friends.
