Advantages: Great writing and performances

Disadvantages: Not suitable for younger teens

This comedy tells the tale of two salesmen whose job it is to tour schools promoting their minotaur energy drink whilst delivering a "don't take drugs" message. The first salesmen Wheeler (Seann William Scott) is a life loving commitment hating, no strings attached kind of guy, the complete opposite to his co worker Danny (Paul Rudd) who is in a long term relationship and unhappy with his job. After breaking up with his girlfriend Danny has a run in with the law and winds up getting both himself and Wheeler 30 days in jail or 150 hours community service. They obviously choose the community service and end up becoming 'buddies' to two kids, Augie (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) and Ronnie (Bobb'e J. Thompson). From then on hilarity ensues with the Wheeler and Danny having to bond with their young people. I won't say anymore for fear of spoiling the movie, but believe me the film is just one well delivered hysterical line after another.

The actors on this film were truly talented at comedy performances, everything was portrayed perfectly and their comical timing was impeccable. I cannot fault any of the actors in this film as I think it was perfect! The storyline may be somewhat cliche, there have been many comical films set around someone having to serve community service over jail time but I have to say this film is in a league of its own. The humour can be a bit crude at times, if you were offended by the jokes from Superbad then I would not recommend you view this as it has a similar style of humour. The film is rated a 15 so I would say it is not suitable for anyone younger, I am aware certification is not always adhered to at home, but any parents should be aware that the film does feature jokes of a sexual nature and also some scenes of a sexual nature.

Overall I have to give this film 5/5 for it's amazing cast and perfect comical genius! I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I did.

Summary: A hilarious film which will have you laughing start to finish.
