TV Programme Only (I am not reviewing the DVD format) Rosemary and Thyme is a mystery drama which shows on ITV 1, currently at 4pm on weekdays (mon-fri). It is on for an hour, and each episode ends in the one hour (there are no 2 part episodes), and the story starts anew each day, meaning you don't have to watch it every day to know what is happening in the show, just tune in when you want to watch an episode and forget about it until you come across it again. The show is about two female gardeners, Rosemary and Laura, in each episode they are employed to do the garden of some stately home, park, school etc. But wherever they go, trouble seems to ... If you love a good murder but are fed up with Miss Marple or Poirot then I recommend Rosemary and Thyme. A more gentle approach to solving murders. More info... Funny title for a crime series isn't it ? Yes, I guess so. The name comes from the two 'detectives'. They are Rosemary Boxer, played beautifully by former Good Life actress Felicity Kendall. Laura Thyme is played by Pam Ferris, who to many will be Ma Larkin from The Darling buds of May series. So are they both 'real' detectives ? Actually they are not detectives at all. Introduction The great thing about getting older is that I can forget about being trendy and just concentrate on what I like doing. This series is mainly aimed at middle-aged women (and I’m only 36), but I just don’t care, I’ve liked this series right from the beginning and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every episode I’ve seen.
