The title of this opinion says it all. The story is disctinctly average - Jackie travels to New York to help his relatives in a shop but ends up embralled in a three-way fight between gang members, the CIA and himself. Everyone goes to see Jackie Chan films for the action. The fights are wonderfully fluid and intricately choreagraphed. Jackie is as ever charismatic and likable and is in great physical shape. The dubbing is laughable (I'm sure they could have done better), the secondary actors are unmemmorable and the music is too trendy and already sounds dated. This film doesn't hold a candle to the greatest Jackie Chan movie ever, Drunken Master 2. Summary: |
