In 1934 the Christmas standard "Santa Claus is Comin' To Town" first hit the radio airwaves. As with many of their productions, Rankin Bass took this popular song and in 1970 wove a story about it. Using carved wooden puppets and props, this stop motion animation film bears all the hallmarks that made Rankin Bass the legend they are today.
