This is another of my old videos I've watched this week. I remember that I bought this from one of those Cash Converter type shops several years ago for a couple of quid. Say It Isn't So Thank God for Sky Movies. Yes, we may pay a little extra in our subscription for the movie channels, but there are so many movies available to watch each month that the cost can be justified. As I said just a couple of sentences ago, thank God! Because if I'd have paid to see this film at the cinema, or to get it out on DVD, I'd have been mightily peeved at paying for such a crappy film. This is cr*p. Three words which sum up the rest of this review and tell you all you need to know about the movie in my eyes. There are no redeeming features, nothing which can even drag this movie up to the heady heights of mediocrity even. Nope, its cr*p and it wears that particular crown more fittingly than any other movie I have seen in recent months. The movie is touted by those who sit on their sweaty, fat, devious butts in Hollywood as being the latest piece of gross out comedy from the Farrely brothers whose previous works have included the superb Kingpin and Dumb And Dumber. Say it isn't so Not long out of the UK Cinemas comes hit American Comedy "Say it isn't so" on region 1 DVD. From the makers of "There's something about Mary", one of my favorite all times comedies, the film is described as an "outrageously funny comedy" and a "twisted masterpiece", and while I wouldn't go that far, the film does offer some great entertainment value. The film itself runs for just over 90 minutes, which for me is an ideal running time for a comedy. Hi, I suggested this topic because I watched this film a few weeks ago and felt it was poor enough to warn other people not to waste their money. I didnt get round to being the first to voice my opinion, but I am glad the person who did shared exactly the same dissapointing movie experience as me.
