Advantages: The definitive gangster movie

Disadvantages: Nothing

The ultimate male film, full of drugs, women, gangsters...not to mention being the ultimate gangster film, the classic story of the rise from one man and his subsequent fall from grace. The materialistic obsession Tony Montana is a symbol of the desires of many who grow up with nothing, see the bright lights the world has to offer and will do anything it takes to levitate towards them.
Al Pacino plays the role perfectly and this along with the Godfather will be what he will be remembered for when people talk about what a great actor he is. The concept of the film has had a huge influence on others in the gangster genre and the film has had an overall huge influence on popular culture ever since.
There will be very few who haven't seen this film but if you haven't, hang your head in shame...then go and buy it.
