David Zucker taking on the role of director here gives the film a whole new feel and ultimately is a breath of fresh air as had the Wayans once again been in charge of this one then we may well have seen the series go downhill and this third offering could have been a poor one. With the Wayans gone there's not much space for the original characters to enter into the script however two that do make it are Anna Faris' Cindy Campbell, and Regina Hall's Brenda who appear for the third, and for Regina Hall the final time. As has been the case with the other films, a whole host of new faces have come on board for this one and we see such faces as Pamela Anderson, Jenny ... Read the complete review

Scary Movie returns for the 3rd installment in the hugely successful series but this time it returns with a new director in David Zucker. So does this film live upto the standards previously set? The film sees news reporter Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris) looking for a hard hitting story during sweeps week she discovers a video which when seen is rumoured to cause death within 7 days so when Cindy starts to hear of other strange events around the world like alien invaders, freaky crop circles, prophecies of The One, eerie-eyed children and even ambitious white rappers she begins to wonder if all of these events are linked in some way but can she solve the riddle ... Having been quite a big fan of the previous Scary Movie films I couldn't wait to see this one. I must admit that this is my favourite of the series and I really did think that it was a first clss comedy. The film was originally released on DVD in May 2004 and I bought it for £10 from Asda. The film features Pamela Anderson and Jenny McCarthy amongst others who perhaps arn't the best actors but they are very funny in the film. I really would recommend this film to any comedy lovers and especially to Scary Movie fans because this time I felt it was better and funnier than ever. The film is about a video tape that is circulating many houses, when you watch the ... Read the complete review

I'm not sure if anyone else caught the premiere of the Scary Movie franchises 2004 outing, Scary Movie 3, on BBC1 last night but with nothing else better to do I did. Last night was not the first time I had seen the movie, because as awful a series of films the Scary Movie set is becoming there is something about them where you have to watch just to see how bad they are getting. Revisiting this film wasn't going to be fun, but it was going to kill some time. Just like all horror films have to have that beginning scene that sets the tone for the rest of the film, Scary Movie 3 has a beginning scene that won't exactly send chills down your spine, but gets the ... Scary Movie 3 is slightly worse than scary movie 2 which is slightly worse than scary movie. That's just the way it goes. However, this still isn't a bad movie and has some laugh out loud moments. The story this time is based around an alien invasion and laughs at the expense of signs, 8 mile and even pop idol. The acting isn't a problem neither is the soundtrack, this isn't a low budget production. The problems lay in the jokes. Some are great but some just don't seem to work. There are some great parts though and it is definitely worth watching. David Zucker makes a great appearance which is now expected of him. It's a really dumb film to be honest and not in the ...
