Advantages: It reveals the whole story.

Disadvantages: Not so scary as it is comical.

As the closing episode to the trilogy, this film has a lot to live up to. When I first watched it, I wasn’t quite expecting it to be presented as it was. There are no longer any much anticipated chases or regurgitating deaths, but in its place is a less thought out, stereotyped ‘sequel’.

In the final act, Sydney (Neve Campbell) is in hiding due to her previous meetings with various ‘ghost face’ killers. When in Hollywood the cast of the film ‘Stab 3’ (based on the Greensboro killings) start to get killed off one-by-one and a picture of Sydney’s previously murdered mum is found with each body, Dewey (David Arquette) finds her in the hope of unmasking the new killer.

There are a few heart-pounding moments, but the rest of it is mainly comedy, mixed with a few dramatic moments. Despite the fact that it is best suited a comedy genre, it brings a brilliant twist and end to the complete trilogy.

Jenny McCarthy, Courtney Cox Arquette, Parker Posey and Patrick Dempsey also star.

If you’ve seen the other two films, then this is definitely worth watching, as it draws the phenomenon to a dignified close.

good op, but more info needed. It may be the end of the trilogy but i bet there will be a number 4. Just look at Friday the 13th/ Hallowe'en etc.
